Ear Ache Drops
Our family’s tried-and-true herbal remedy for ear pain, gentle enough for little ones yet potent enough for grown-ups. Mullein flower is the premier herb to address ear ache and infection for it’s ability to move stagnant or congested fluid, relieve pain and reduce inflammation. Garlic and Thyme pack a powerful antimicrobial punch, and Calendula works to speed healing from the inside out.
.33 fluid ounces / 10 mL
Ingredients: Pure organic olive oil, wild-harvested mullein flowers (Verbascum thapsus,) homegrown organic Calendula flowers (Calendula officinalis,) homegrown organic Thyme (Thymus vulgaris,) organic Garlic (Allium sativum,) organic Tea tree essential oil, and trace amounts of potentizing, preservative isopropyl alcohol 91%
Suggested Use: A few times per day, apply a few drops directly into the affected ear, let settle in for a moment, and plug with cotton to avoid a mess. We like to massage around the outer ear area with a bit more oil to soothe pain and help manually get fluids moving. It’s also good to apply in both ears, even if only one ear hurts. Infection likes to jump from one side to the next quite quickly. A hot water bottle or heat pack of some kind on the outer ear also makes a difference. Be sure to rest!
